Angela

Angela is the President of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women (NACOPRW) Northern Illinois Chapter and brings over 15 years of leadership in program development, strategic partnerships, and community advocacy. A PhD candidate in Human Services, she is committed to advancing opportunities for underrepresented communities. Through her expertise in workforce development, program management, and cross-sector collaboration, she works to empower Puerto Rican women and strengthen community impact.

Susana

Susana is committed to the mission and values of NACOPRW. She serves as a nurse educator at ASI NE Inc. and adjunct faculty at DePaul University School of Nursing, bringing extensive leadership experience in academics, operations, and community partnerships. With dual master’s degrees (MSN and MHA) and decades of board service, she is dedicated to volunteerism, youth leadership, and empowering women.

Maritza

Maritza Ocasio is a Certified Recovery Support Specialist and Program Supervisor at Rincon Family Services for the New Hope School of Counseling’s CRSS/CPRS Certification program. She is dedicated to community wellness and empowerment, helping train future recovery professionals. She also serves on the Puerto Rican Agenda of Chicago’s Health Committee, supporting initiatives that promote health equity in Puerto Rican communities.

Hillie Rodriguez is a technology professional with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and over 30 years of experience in technical support, data analysis, engineering, and data security within the finance sector. She later transitioned into entrepreneurship, focusing on health, wellness, and specialized foot care services.

She currently serves as Secretary of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women (NACOPRW) Northern Illinois Chapter and supports the organization as Website and Social Media Administrator, helping lead its digital communications and community outreach.
